My 1st Fascinator

Oh. My. Word.

I'm going to have to start a support group: Fascinator-Makers Anonymous. This is seriously addictive stuff, people.

I've always wanted one for myself, but you know how you can't bring yourself to purchase something that you know could be made at home for a fraction of the cost? They've always fallen into that category for me, but I never seemed to get around to it. Well, over Thanksgiving weekend, I got around to it.

MATERIALS:
* craft felt (even scraps!)
* adhesive of choice
* scissors
* alligator clip
* seed beads
* fake flower petals
* circles to trace around, if desired
* marker for tracing, if desired

I used all materials I had on hand, so this was a FREE project! If I had it to do over, I'd use Fabri-tac instead of hot glue, but overall it turned out well. This is a mostly-word-free tutorial, so comment with any questions!

(box of post-Halloween black rose petals from Goodwill)

trim for the next layer down
or just trace the next layer's petals smaller
trim as desired

didn't quite look right on cream

don't forget to clean off the extra hot glue dribbles

plenty left over!
I trimmed my dribbles with tiny sewing scissors.

pajamas and right-before-bed face are not required for this craft

Love your pin. I've never made one but it has been on my list for a while. Yours is wonderful!
